I love coffee. The smell, the taste, the way it warms you to the core, and the way it gives you that extra little kick to start your day off on a good note.
I don’t know why the world came to discover the wonders of the coffee bean, I’m just grateful it did. (Check out my post about the Coffee Museum in Dubai.)
Coffee (and meetings over coffee) can lead to wonderful things. It can mean the beginning of a new career; the reunion with a long lost friend or the start of a new friendship; it can also be the start of your love story.
Why am I praising coffee? Well, International Coffee Day is upon us – kind of. It is actually on October 1, but it got trending on Twitter today (29 September) because it’s National Coffee Day in America. But whenever it is is irrelevant because EVERY DAY should be a celebration of coffee.
Coffee lovers on Twitter have expressed their coffee appreciation. These are some of my favourites:

Dave Briggs makes an excellent point

Celebrate #InternationalCoffeeDay by sending someone a card with a completely incorrect spelling of their name.

Yeah, Universe. Why aren’t you celebrating coffee?

You mean you’re not there for the Venti Caramel Mocha?
Go into a busy Starbucks.
Order “A coffee, please”
Laugh as everyone behind you in the queue weeps in despair.#InternationalCoffeeDay
