
How have we been at it for 14 days already? This beautiful month really does go by way too quickly.
It’s been a good week so far and that also probably has something to do with time flying.
Cape Town is really bringing the cold so we opted for something warm tonight. Mince curry salomies. I made some aubergine bhajas too. It was delicious, Alhamdulillah. Thanks to my mom for cooking the curry.
The one challenged faced today was running out of gas while trying the last roti. But I finished cooking it in the sandwich press. Now there’s a top tip for you.

funny I’ve actually been craving mince curry salomis. I can’t recall the last time I ate them. I’ll have to make it myself one day.
On our menu tonight was left over chicken with a fresh pastry pie type thing (I don’t know how to explain it quite well) and soup. I often forget how Cape Malays do the whole snack before big dinner thing
