Hi guys,

I’m back in Cape Town after an amazing and wonderful trip to Dubai. It was a busy week and you’ll get to read all about it once I’ve finished my articles for Traveller24.

Before you get to read that though, I’ll show you some highlights.

We visited At.mosphere Lounge at the Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa.

We got to tour the city on a Sightseeing bus.

The aquarium was also on out list of places to see. It’s in the Dubai Mall, which is so huge it makes Canal Walk look like a garden shed.

We had suhoor and iftar in tents. (Not the kinds of tents you’re thinking, I can assure you.)

No ordinary tent. The very opulent Asateer tent where we had iftar one evening.

The coffee museum was a highlight too.

The food at the Armani Deli was more delicious than you can imagine.

When you’re there, be sure to check out the Dubai Fountain. It’s nothing short of spectacular.

In short, it was wonderful to experience Ramadaan in Dubai.

It was also great to be home again this past weekend, although I have to confess I forgot that at home I’d have to do my own dishes again. It’s very easy to get used to being spoiled.
